Founder & Teacher

Hi, I'm VictoriAnn.

I have been practicing yoga for more than 30 years and teaching for 16. These days I teach a gentle, seated practice I created, because I believe everybody deserves a way in.

How it began

Yoga for people the studios were not reaching.

In 2010, I founded the original YogaMobileStudio to bring yoga to people who couldn't access traditional studios.

Over the years I became certified in several modalities of health, meditation, breathing, and nutrition. But chair yoga captured my heart because of its accessibility.

So I took it one step further and created Rehabilitation Choga (chair yoga) in 2011: seated movement without a chair as a prop, mindful breathing, and dreamlike meditation. It is for anyone recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, or just dealing with life.

The book

I wrote it for the days that are hard.

Choga: Rehabilitation Chair Yoga for Recovery from Surgery, Illness, and Life's Hardest Seasons brings the practice I created in 2011 into a book you can keep beside your favorite chair.

Inside is a seated practice, simple breathing techniques, and a voice in your corner reminding you to be kind to yourself.
